This is really not what I had in mind for summer. I was thinking going out and dancing every night, soaking up the sun in my garden during the day, and going to lots of lovely outdoor cafes with Doug. Instead the weather is disgusting and murky, half my housemates have left and I am bored out of my mind. Yuck yuck yuck. Yallllllah August.

Went to Chimichanga in Canterbury with Doug yesterday. We’re doing this silly/pretty damn fun ‘food challenge’ thing where we basically see how many world ‘cuisines’ we can sample in Canterbury’s various restaurants by the end of this year.
So far: Mexican, Indian, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Portugese.
Going to nice restaurants for couple-y meals, good conversation and fancy wine is probably one of my favourite things ever.
Just watched District 9 and it was brilliant. The end scene made me get all choked up. Come back Christopher!

The lineup really needs more big bands. I love lots of the indie bands that are playing, however people outside of the UK have barely heard of most of them. Bit worried that the main stage isn’t really going to fill up half the time.
